While enjoying the stay in Atrani, I was able to spend some time sketching around the vicinity. When first exploring Amalfi, the St. Andrews Cathedral, located in Piazza Duomo, caught my attention. Amongst the busy center of town full of locals and tourists eating and shopping, sits this unique church. The steep staircase and large arches made for a enjoyable challenge to represent around dusk. With the mountains in the background, exterior ornamentation of mosaics and frescos create a beautiful spectacle to see.
