Representing a Vision

After experiencing the Pantheon through visits and picture taking it was finally time to actually sketch the monument. When attempting such a difficult task the feelings related to the building have a dramatic change. How do you represent such an important mass with pencil and paper? After a brief instruction course from Matt we all set on our ways to take on the beast.

After completing the exterior we were then challenged to represent the interior. WOW, where do you even start... A couple of us found a comfortable spot on the ground and got to work. As I was drawing, a young female tourist was lurking around me and finally asked if she could take a picture of my sketch. I felt a little awkward considering she could take a picture of the actual building instead of my attempted capture.
