Another week has slipped by :(…we learned and saw so much last week. This included the Forum and the Coliseum. Absolutely amazing! We took a field trip to Ostia on Friday, southwest of Rome, an ancient city that was found. It was nothing I was expecting at all. It’s an ENTIRE city that is still in the form of when they discovered it…all ancient ruins. The Theatre was so amazing…there was a class of little ones performing on the stage. Since we were so close to the Ocean some of us made it there to jump in the waves and lay in the sun, even though it got windy within a few hours it was so worth it. You have to pay to rent a chair to lie in the sun. Half of the group went to Barcelona this weekend leaving the apartment empty except for me. We get to go on our first trip this weekend to Atrani as a class. Should be amazing! I need to come up with a different adjective besides amazing for everything :) but everything is AMAZING!
