Rome Week Three

The weeks are flying by in Rome. It makes me more sad every time I even think about leaving. This week, though, were some of the most amazing museums I have ever seen. The Capitoline Museums, and the Vatican Museums were absolutely incredible. Things I have only ever dreamed of seeing were right in front of me. I can't even name a favorite thing because it was all so amazing... even the buildings that the museums were housed in were stunning (just like this ceiling in the picture). More and more I am noticing the subtleties of the city and how deep its roots go. I understand now how, even by the end, it's going to feel like I have barely scratched the surface.
