Assisi

I had a wonderful time visiting some of the hill towns of Italy such as Assisi.  One of the most memorable places there was the Basilica of San Francesco.  I spent some time one morning capturing the beauty of this church with watercolor.  This amazing place has three levels, consisting of a crypt, a lower church, and an upper church.  Here you can see my watercolor as well as the picture of the fantastic view.

Another great moment was watching the sunset from the old remains of the castle with all of my fellow classmates.  Moments like these will stay with someone for a lifetime.
