This week the majority of our time has been spent visiting our piazzas and finalizing our studio project. It is almost time to transfer our drawings onto our presentation boards to paint. We present next week. This week, we had a critique where we illustrated our progress on our piazza studies related to the History class we take here. We were each assigned two piazza in which we diagram, research, and document predominately though visits and participating in possible activities in the Piazzas. My two piazzas are Piazza del Biscione, and Piazza delle Coppelle. I have found both to be very interesting. Piazza del Biscione is surrounded by buildings constructed over the Theatre of Pompeii ruins and in Piazza delle Coppelle there is the Church of San Salvatore delle Coppelle. I have enjoyed going out to my two piazzas and collecting data.
Time to get back to my studio project! It is due next Tuesday.
