Roma Week 7 (Almost done :| )

As I look back at the last 7 weeks I have been here in Rome, it is hard for me to believe I have been here that long. It feels as if I had just gotten off of the plane yesterday. Time does seem to speed up as the weeks go by, what felt like such a long time when we hit the mid way point now feels like it was just yesterday. We have just handed in our final presentation boards for our Studio project, and that is what took up the majority of our time for this past week. We have all been working so hard and it has definitely paid off. Seeing every bodies work, it is hard to believe that most of us had never even picked up a water color brush before this program (well maybe not most but for me this is true) it was truly amazing to be able to see what we could all accomplish! Although studio did take up most of our time, we were able to watch the final fireworks show for Saints Peter and Paul Day. Saint's Peter and Paul are the patron saints of Rome so it's kind of a big deal. The show itself was designed my Michelangelo and they are still using it! So cool! So that was fun... Other than that we also were able to visit our Piazzas for our history project and do some sketches/watercolors. For the rest of the week we mostly just did studio work this whole week. Now that our studio is done we have a whole week left to do what ever we want!
