End of Studio

The school portion of the program is winding down and it is getting really close to the end of the summer. We wrapped up our piazza history projects here and will complete them for the reflections gallery back in the states. Then came final studio critiques. Unfortunately Tom Rankin was not able to make it so we will also do a more formal critique of the final products once we get back to Moscow. We had a great but somewhat extensive discussion as a group about the program as a whole and the way that we have learned here. It was so great to put it all into perspective with how much we have all accomplished over such a short period of time. It has been a fantastic summer.
We also wrapped up the sketching class. We began the day with quick redos of the sketches we did on the very first class to compare. We have all improved so much! It is so fun to sketch with everyone and see the great work everyone is producing! Then we ended with the Ponte Sisto and the mandatory group photo. I am going to miss the sketching class part of the program most of all.
