Last week was a fun adventure to the mountain towns of Spoleto, Assisi, and Perugia. Our first stop was in Spoleto. It is a relatively small town high on the mountain side. There was an amazing bridge that stretched over a gulch and connected the main part of the town with what appeared to be a lookout tower. Our small group was there for a couple of hours exploring and sketching the Doumo and other interesting places. A few of us found the most amazing Kabob place in a back alley. So far in Italy it was the best kabob I have had yet. There was also another surprise for me. At a churc
h we visited it sounded like they were playing a movie in a back room. Out in front of the main door there was a poster. I think that they were playing Harry Potter. Its funny how the world can recognize a popular book and a single person can correlate with it no matter what country and language it is in.
